Can't say enough great things about this great hotel. Have to give a huge shout out to the staff for putting up with all of my friends requests. On the verge of being annoying, the staff were so understanding and attentive, both morning and evening staff. you guys. I enjoyed our room so much that we will be requesting the same for all future visits. Cal king bed, full size couch w/pull out bed, lots of pillows. We each had 4. Large screen TV, full size dresser and 2 night stands, large closet with sliding doors, table w/chairs, ceiling fan w/light. Can lights. Everything on dimmers. This Hotel is a hidden gem. The valets were the best unloaded the car into the room and loaded everything back in the car as he left they were on the ball. I will never stay anywhere else when I'm in Beverly Hills 10 stars out of fiveNoteworthy details: It's a MUST

Good hotel, comfortable, good shower and excellent location. However, for American standards, some amenities are missing and you have to be lucky to get a room away from the restaurant, which has to be below the hotel, otherwise you will hear bossa nova from 9 to 23 rsRooms: 4/5

Having had a nice experience last summer at a Sonder home in downtown San Diego, my family and I opted to stay here. Unfortunately, this stay has proven to be a profound disappointment. The room, far from matching the photos, was visibly worn and unclean. Even though the location is great and the staff is nice, the hotel itself is in a bad shape. Our room was dirty with spider webs and dirty windows. The bed 's headboard was torn, and the room 's walls were visibly chipped with plaster repairs left unpainted. Less costly shouldn 't mean dirty and worn-out, just simpler with fewer extras. The lack of care is surprising, especially after our good experience with Sonder before. We 're unwilling to tolerate these disappointing conditions, prompting our decision to check out 2 nights early. We reached out to Sonder via their app seeking a refund for the 2 nights we won 't be using but we were met with a dismissive response and a firm 'no ' to our refund request. I 've captured screenshots of this conversation, but out of respect, I choose not to post them here. I sincerely hope that this feedback is taken seriously, and actions are taken to improve the experience for future guests.

The hotel might be a bit old, but it’s super clean, convenient, and there is no Popcorn Ceilings in the hotel rooms just in case you’re wondering. Popcorn ceilings gross me out and I despise hotels that are super expensive but yet have 1970’s ceilings. Yuk!Anyhow, this hotel was built in the 1920’s I think and still has its charm!Check in is via the app, and they have late check ins. I recommend parking directly across the street for $16 a night at the parking garage. It’s super cheap and safe.They also don’t charge you for water bottles as they have refill stations on each floor. They have a NO PET policy which I love because I’m allergic to Cat and Dogs and I can only stay at hotels that ban pets. I didn’t see ant children, so this was nice as I didn’t have to experience hearing crying annoying children.Also, there is No smoking so chances of getting a meth chemical filled room from vapers/smokers is minimal.Cons: There are No elevators so you have to walk your luggage upstairs. A little exercise will work the day off… lol.If you have mobility issues you might have to get a first floor room.
