Colomb'Auge - Beuvron-en-Auge

We wanted to eat, but it was full and we booked for Diner. We arrived at 6.55 a.m. instead of 7 a.m. and the manager said that you are too early at 5 minutes, very abrupt and unfriendly, the same attitude he showed to other customers during lunchtime. It has mustache and light beard (black or dark brown). He put us directly at the back of the restaurant or café near fruit juice machines, while other table are unoccupied. Our waiter is a young man who is absolutely polite, friendly and accommodating. This manager passed and told him to delete the other two table settings because it was only 2 of us. We looked at him the mirror that cleared his mustache on the way up while we approach. The meal (galettes) were nothing special actually a bit disappointing because it wasn't as delicious as we expect. The worst of the experience was a lot of flies and wasps. The wasps circled our wines and drinks. We want to stay for dessert to try the crepe, but fear of wasps. We did not leave any nice experiences at all in a hurry (a very fast dinner only half an hour since we arrived and it cost us Euro 40 for 2 gallets, a small carafe house wine and 2 fruit juices). We gave the young waiter a tip and told him that he gave excellent service and made the effort unlike his manager. We won't come back because of the meal, but the manager's attitude has set us. The restaurant in a beautiful old building. the staff was friendly and attentive and our dinner was really delicious. We recommend a stop here

Beautiful cafe with hearty and sweet crepes. The De la Goule! It's an excellent choice. We had a nice time and enjoyed the rustic ambience of the interior.

We have been here in 2014 and couldn’t forget the food

This was our second visit (first time five years ago). We found it just as good and cozy. I had a wonderful goat cheese crepes and one with ice cream and caramel sauce for dessert. Really good. Busy but friendly staff. A bit hot in...the summer but that is part of the charm
