Del'arte - Béthune

Food was fine but the service was painfully slow. Once the order was taken food arrived quickly but then nobody came back until after a really really long wait one of the chefs gave the children the desert that came with their menu. After another wait, kids deserts finished....a waitress asked if we would like a desert.....no menu and no more time....so no!

Staying at a local hotel on the way from Calais to the south, we found this Italian restaurant. Unfussy food, cooked and served well and with pleasant staff. Certainly did the trick of filling us up and not hugely expensive.

We arrived late in Bethune and fancied a pizza to take back to our room. Staff were friendly and suggested pizzas we may like. Buy two pizzas get third for €1.50 which we couldn’t resist! Service was quick and lovely thin crust pizzas with fresh ingredients. The restaurant itself looked nice with quite a few families couples dining.
