Black Forest Deli - Bethlehem

This was my first time eating at black forest deli and everything went well. The store was very clean. the employees were very nice and friendly Plus the food was very good, a little pricey but it was worth it though. So I would suggest anybody to give this a try. Yes, I would go back there and eat again.

What an incredible local experience! The two women running it are absolutely the kindest humans. The food was so delish and authentic- will definitely be back. Hopefully ASAP. Oh and you better believe I took pierogies home!

After our stay at the casino, my husband and I decided to grab lunch before our drive back to New York City. We stumbled upon a local spot and ordered a variety of dishes. The borscht was surprisingly good, and my pelmeni were decent, but unfortunately, the pierogi with potato, bacon, and cheese were undercooked. When I politely mentioned this to the owner/waitress, she took my plate away and returned a few minutes later claiming she had tested my pierogi herself and found it cooked through. To my surprise, she showed me a bitten piece, but the dough was still raw inside. Adding to the disappointment, when I asked about the bathroom, I was told they didn't have one. I'm unsure if this is permissible in Bethlehem, PA, but it certainly left a bad impression. Overall, while some dishes showed promise, the inconsistency in food preparation and the lack of basic amenities like a restroom make it difficult to recommend this place.

Amazing food! With the sweetest service. Venegret was a fresh start, with a savory Herring and Onion dish. Rassolnik soup 10/10. Sweet Farmers Cheese Pierogis heavenly. The ladies were so welcoming. Really recommend!
