Tommy Joe's - Bethesda

Basic sports bar, bar food is pretty good...great burgers...and I can take my dog since the outdoor bar in back is enclosed. Great spot.

I made dinner reservations at Tommy Joe's, not knowing it was a pretty nice, after work, happy hour spot. It actually turned out to be a pleasant surprise because I went there with one of my good friends who was from out of town. It gave us an opportunity to eat good food, watch the game, catch up on lost time, and see a few fairly attractive women, all in a very energetic atmosphere. Two thumbs up!

I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty and hot the food was. The service from Caroline was excellent, and the happy hour drinks were a nice bonus!

A casual sports bar with a dive atmosphere, but the food is excellent, the service is friendly, and outdoor seating is available for dogs. I really enjoyed my experience there!

A group of us visited the restaurant for dinner on New Year's Eve. Although the atmosphere felt a bit shabby and we were the only patrons, the food exceeded our expectations. The crab dip was particularly tasty. The main courses featured standard American dishes, but everyone, both adults and kids, enjoyed their meals. However, I wouldn't choose to return during colder weather, as the heating seemed inadequate—we had to eat while wearing our coats. Overall, the restaurant is in need of a significant renovation.
