Joe The Juice - Bethesda

They don't have a number to call and limited options to modify orders

This is a review less for food but more for an encounter I had with a staff member I was going into joe and the juice to grab a coffee juice I was coming in from the car and had to pee SO BAD. (You know when you're driving and need to get in etc) I was walking to the bathroom where a girl behind the counter (Stephanie) stopped me and said bathrooms were for customers only and if I was going to purchase something I said yes but I don't know what I wanted yet and I needed to pee really bad first. She goes on further to say I have to order something. I respond with my husband is coming in behind me, we are going to order together, I'm going to pee first. I walk towards the bathroom and she verbally stops me again saying I have to purchase something, it's their policy. I respond with fine I'm going to go to Starbucks. The shop was empty and it was such a rude exchange I was going to order something, it's why I chose to go in there in the first place, along with my husband who was parking the car. People can choose to be kind or rude, and she went out of her way to choose to have a rude exchange. I love joes coffee, their menu and juices. Maybe talking to staff about how you treat customers would go a long way. Thanks.

I come to this shop for an espresso drink every few weeks and I can't recommend it. The employees are polite, but in a very basic and un-engaging way. I've tried customizing drinks or asking questions like how a particular drink on the menu is made... every time it seems more difficult to get a clear answer. Their machine only makes double shots, so asking for an extra shot leads to a poorly articulated explanation and unnecessary confusion. On top of all that, the coffee is just average. I only come here out of convenience because it's beside an amazing grocery store.

PROSOutside eating with some shade.Inside is nice as wellCONSWay over priced. Two small lemonades were $20. Sorry but never again. Staff not helpful at all. We had never been there, they were not crowded so asking some basic ? should be fine. It was like pulling teeth.No decaf coffee options. Serious fail.

Love their coffee and avocado sandwich. Joe’s classic bread is super delicious which makes their sandwiches like no other!!
