Always good accommodation and great service! I wish the restaurant was still open.

My partner and I had our first date at this restaurant in 2008. The atmosphere was very romantic and beautiful, with friendly staff. The view of the sunset over the lake was stunning, and the community made us feel very welcome. It seemed like a Christian community with rules and guidelines, but not a cult. The food was delicious and the buffet prices were reasonable. We have been back many times and always enjoy our visits. It's a bit of a drive for us since we got married in 2008 and moved east of Quincy, but we love the place and the people there!

I am disappointed that the restaurant is closed. I drove 45 minutes for a meal of fine dining, with candlelight, two forks, linen napkins, and excellent service.

This restaurant is fantastic. It's a shame they are closing at the end of the month. The seal melts in your mouth, the pig is wonderful, and the roasted turkey is delicious. They have too many other tasty treats to mention. Looks like we'll have to dine at The Solid Rock Cafe in the future.

Great food! Great service! More than fair price! I wish I could bring them back to Texas .They have a cook, that does their meat dishes as in BBQ, smoked, grilled, etc. that they are lucky to have. I am usually there, with a world champion BBQ chef Chef Dwayne , and the black gentleman, that is the Lodge chef, comes and visits with us. He always asks our opinion, about his dishes, and he is a pleasure to talk to. I am not a professional cook, but I am a professional eater, and I love this place.We we're there, this last New Year's Eve, and they had seafood buffet. It was second to none! I hope I am able to be there next year.
