Our server, Jake, informed us about the specials of the day and that the new chef hails from the South. So we decided to try the shrimp and grits. The meal was splendid. I'm sorry I don't know the name of the dish but the flavors were so complex and robust I just had to
Great brunch with live piano music. The food was fresh and plentiful and something for everyone. They had a carving station, an omelette station, breakfast pastries and fresh waffles, smoked salmon, shrimp cocktail, cheese board, salad station, vegetable station, and a desert station and much more. The pianist was amazing and would put a jazz spin on classic rock songs (instrumental only.... no singing). The restaurant is inside a historic hotel/inn.
Service was poor. Food was not very good, very small portions for the price. Will not be going back
We stayed at the Bethel Inn and thought it would be great to try the tavern and not have to worry about driving. The atmosphere was very nice, Meghan, who was our server was great, and the food was delicious. I had the salmon and my bf had the seared tuna. The portions are not large, but the flavor was great! Drinks seemed to be priced the same as other places these days. We chose to sit at the bar after we finished eating and David, the bartender, was kind enough to stay open a bit even after closing. Nice place overall!
