La Carreta - Bessemer

Enjoyed this place. You give you chips, salsa and a bean cheese dip while you wait for your meal. There is table service or you can order. The restaurant is attached to a gas station, but is not part of the gas station. Everyone was friendly and nice, food was very delicious. And they also have a clean bathroom.

Yummy shrimp fajitas were a yummyvgreat deal at $6.99. Guacamole, salsa chips were also great.

The good is good, definitely better than getting a Taco Bell or something along these lines. It is not awfully expensive, but the food is not really good enough to justify the price. Updating my review a bit Still think it would be worth to a real Mexican place, but they have definitely improved. The staff is always better when I was over.

Great food! Used to eat there at least once a week! It got a little to pricey and the cheese dip and salsa was never consistent. But overall best food in that area!
