Samourai Sushis - Besançon

The host refused to seat us, even though the restaurant was empty and it was nowhere near closing time. He also tried to make us order to go, so as to not waste his time on us. Ridiculous.

Fresh, nice and fast.... I recon the place. The big maki was just awesome, the sushi was very nice and the soup also was good...

We went there last week after hearing much praise, we did enjoy it. The food is very good and the staff are nice (with some with a great personality! . It is a bit pricey maybe but all the food is homemade and the sushi are very tasty. The only downside is that it is quite small inside although we were lucky and were put at a big table just the two of us which we really appreciated! I would recommend this place for a nice lunch with friends/colleagues or with your significant other.

We love Sushi and it's hard to find places where the fish are simply delicious and so fresh. I really recommend this place in Besançon. The staff is really nice (and our French is not the best) .The restaurant is small, more suitable for your Takeaway service so you should book a table if you want to sit and comer.excelente flavor, preparation and delivery. We re-ordered several times! We have nothing to be disappointed, and at the end the bill was very reasonable!

I went to Samourai Sushis on a Thu night on a business trip and was attracted by the #1 ranking. The food tastes ok but is overpriced for Besançon. The friendliness of the waiter does not make up for his poor service: slow to take the order and slow to serve, no pickup of the finished plates/glass/bottle etc. Given that the served food was ok although overpriced, I would have given 3/5, but the poor service brought it down to 2/5. Go somewhere else, and you'd probably get better value for your money.
