Carlos - Bernville

This was by far the worst place I've ever stayed. The front desk staff was nice and asked us if we would rather have a 1st floor room and we agreed. I've no idea what the original room looked like but....the walls were dingy and one had a hole in it, covered by a paper plate. The cheap furniture was scratched, dented and marred. The bathroom was indescribable. The bedding was so dingy I didn't really want to even sit on it. Outside on the sidewalk was a huge bowl with cigarette butts in it so smokers would smoke right outside our door.

I had several disappointments with this visit. In the dark and raining, it's almost impossible to find, even with GPS. You have to park in a lot and walk to registration, no overhead canopy. The clerk seemed unsure of herself, asking me if the room was paid for (it was). There was a small bar of soap, no shampoo and a meager supply of towels. The TV remote's buttons didn't match the TV and the screen kept saying to re-scan the channels. That didn't help but I figured out eventually that you had to change the source from TV to an internet connection. Even though the parking lots were pretty deserted, somehow 4 arriving guests were all next to me, as if rooms were assigned 1,2,3.. as check-ins happened. There was a noise that woke me up which turned out to be the smoke detector falling off the ceiling. They have some issues.

This was my second stay at the motel and I really liked the upgrades. My room looked almost new, very clean, and comfortable. The microwave and fridge came in handy and the rooms are now completely private. It was quiet, too. All in all, I was very pleased with my stay. A very nice place for the price! I'll be back. again.

Sheets had blood on them and the towels were nasty. See pictures , it is a very nice looking property , wish they cared about the rooms . Advised front desk and showed pictures, was advised when owner is out of town maids don’t clean as well

Was an easy check in process and friendly. Plain looking lobby/office. They offer free coffee with powdered creamer in Am. The buildings look decent from The outside. First impression of room was it had weird smell, like people may have smoked in there even though it’s non smoking mixed with cleaning products. Desk had some sticky stuff all over it so definitely not cleaned there. Bathroom was surprisingly spacious (length wise) Shower looked like it’s seen better days Some rust on the door and hard to tell if it was clean or not Bathroom and room overlap tidy though. Plenty of towels . There is a mini fridge and microwave in room which is a plus. Bed and pillows were surprisingly comfortable Overall not a bad stay for what it is, but no amenities etc Would stay again for a night if I was in area again
