Surf & Sushi - Berlin

Don't be like me being deceived from the positive reviews for this restaurant. This place was terrible with a Capitol T. Only one over-worked waiter takes care of the entire restaurant. Sashimi, who tasted like it had been on a supermarket shelf all day...Maki, who fell apart as soon as it was touched, over boiled unsalted edamame and miso of how I never tasted, still hope, again and again. There was only one kind of Sake that was freezing and fizzy. I mean, Fizzy Sake is quite unusual to have so that this is the only Sake in offer is just a lame choice. Some of our orders didn't even arrive, but it was all so bad, we just decided to reduce our losses and get the hell out of there. A very depressing culinary experience.

Good food bad service but. We've been waiting for our food and drinks for over an hour. You finally forget a drink and we had to order him again. It looks like the waiter is brand new and not really good. Many...people went while we waited (under them a group of 7 girls who had a reservation).

When we finally got our food, it was delicious, but the staff couldn't dazzle us. The toilets were untidy, no loo roll, no towels to dry your hands and paper all over the floor. Can't damage food. It was good.

The staff are nice and the atmosphere is good, but otherwise nothing special. Handroll sushi is unfortunately not crisp enough..

The selection was extensive. the food was good. only the staff was a bit messed up. you can recommend.
