Bidra med feedbackSoya is a small Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of Kreuzberg. We went in the area in the evening and had a little table outside. It was already quite dark, as there was no lighting or a candle on the table, the reading of the map was already a challenge, and the food could be seen only later on. We chose a selection of Vietnamese appetizers such as summerrolls, dumplings, Vietnamese pancakes and fried tofu. The food was okay, but not outstanding. We often go to Berlin to eat Vietnamese and have already been served much better food. The obligatory Vietnamese coffee for dessert was then really bad as there are normal sugared condensed milk in the Soya. Since we had ordered the vegan variant, we got the coffee black, a can of soy milk and sugar extra. Of course, this does not taste comparable if the other vegan Vietnamese use sugared coconut condensed milk, in which the coffee slowly drips through the filter. Since the coffee is our little bouncy on the I, we were somewhat disappointed, especially since you have to be careful not to have cow's milk in the coffee inadvertently. Since most foods are vegan on the map, we were somewhat irritated about it. The service was restrained, the food came fast, but we felt a little messed up. The prices were okay, everything in everything you can go there if you are nearby and hungry for a nice evening would not go there.
Easy vegan kitchen serving seitan based burgers, fake-salmon spring rolls and various tofu dishes. I found everything to be well prepared, nicely presented, and tasty. Service was a bit weird with me having to go inside to get a menu, the server giving off grumpy vibes. Still, good food, good wine, nice price setting. Good eating.
