Samadhi Vegan Vegetarian Restaurant

Good food, ok prices, if one is a vegetarian, would recommend but if not, would consider something else.

This is in a row of restaurants rightly located near Brandenburg gate. Quite tasty food and lot of options to choose from. Definitely recommend!

I went with my family as my wife booked a table here. Initially i wasnt sure if the food would Be good. We were welcomed by the staff on entrance. The table was reserved therefore didnt have problem. Best thing on the menu was photo album for all the dishes they serve which made very easy for us to decide what to have. Food was marvelous. Must try once atleast.Its all vegetarian.Thanks to the staff for wonderful experience.

Mostly Asian/ Chinese food. All very nice, good sized portions. Fast and polite service.Prices a little higher than any other restaurant I tried the same week. For example dinner for four, with drinks was €66. I loved the food and would happily return to try out the rest of the menu.

Generally, we use trip advisor when travelling and we are rarely disappointed by the recommendations of our fellow travellers. We might not always share other people's enthusiasm (well, tastes are different!), but we are rarely disappointed. The Samadhi, however, did not fit this pattern. Now, one can eat here and the food is not terrible, but it is not good either, and for what you get, it is expensive. In essence, you get shopping mall food court type quality of food, but you pay 2 - 3 times the price. So, it really is not a place to recommend.Also, they added a 19% service charge to our bill (for a family of 3) while directly bringing the credit card machine together with the bill, which appeared to have the purpose of not allowing us to inspect the bill carefully. This is not at all customary in Germany and it is not the type of dessert we like.
