Mogg & Melzer Delicatessen - Berlin

Beautiful place for fast lunch with friends. very friendly and helpful service and delicious food. the only part was that we had to pay cash, but the waitress said that before.

What a great place a real gem. Clearly hugely popular by the people waiting to get one of the (few) tables inside. We had the reuben, the pulled pork sandwich and the Shashuka all were utterly delicious and huge portions. Great service staff...too. Really nice vibe about the place and one of the highlights of our trip

Heard about this place from a passing conversation and boy was I glad I checked it out! The Reuben sandwich was out of this world! Best pastrami this side of 2nd Av NY! Service was great and chilled. Had a really great experience and can’t...recommend it enough! If you like your pastrami you will love this spot! The pickle was also on point!

I had never heard of mogg’s and was randomly given a sms from a friend who knew I had gone to berlin, who said: "you have to get a pastrami sandwich from mogg". I immediately started working out where I could squeeze this into my schedule. the next day was lunchtime. mogg is modest and they could easily pass by - but don't do it! They run risk of missing the world's best pastrami sandwich. I ordered a small one and it was absolutely huge. the flesh was absolutely melted in the mouth. my friend ordered the same and at different places in the next 24 hours we smiled and said “The Pastrami sandwich ...” with a dreamy, far away view of our faces. my only disappointment is that this sandwich will not be a more firm part of my life due to the closeness to berlin.

My man and I reserved a table for an early brunch on a Monday afternoon and were glad that we did this because the place was very small. it was a hot afternoon and we were glad we were sitting next to an open window. out on the street there are some sitting opportunities in the open. the service is very good, friendly and informative. I had the salt beef salad that was fabulous, my man had the salt beef sandwich that was huge. I finished my meal with the cheesecake that was delicious, light, creamy and lemony. great visit and we will come back.
