Bidra med feedbackWe stayed for tea and coffee but never again!! No information on the front door that they accept just cash very unfriendly atmosphere):
... and you are thirsty or hungry. We dropped in after a trip to Humana and there were other people doing the same thing on a cold, wet day. Prices were cheap. Fare was not exceptional but fair for what you are paying. Black coffee...better than average and €1.80. The decor has a charm retro, vintage, but certainly not hipster. In fact I found it to be a welcome haven away from the sometimes overly pretentious or polished cool Berlin cafes. Clean bathroom and polite, relaxed service.
Went to visit the second hand shop Humana. Had a craving for coffee and this café was located nearby. Atmosphere: relaxed plenty of space. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Coffee was too hot. The cake wasn't impressive but good.
I've been here twice. The coffe and cake are above average even though the milk foam to coffee ratio is leaning towards foam to much for my taste. Toilets are clean. The furniture seems like it's just wildly bought from the flea market and the...neon lights can be a bit distracting once it's getting dark.
We've visited twice in the last week. The first time we had afternoon tea and cakes. I had a delicious tea made with fresh ginger, mint and lemon. On the second visit we had lunch consisting of home made lentil soup followed by borek. I...notice they serve breakfast between 10 am and 6pm. They also have a cocktail list and are open until midnight. The menu is not too extensive but more than adequate. I'm always a little suspicious if a menu is too long. The cafe is directly opposite the Frankfurte Tor U Bahn station, next to the large branch of Humana. It is a large quirkily and comfortably furnished room.
