Bidra med feedbackI've been to Juniper three times now - and I just booked a reservation for another visit in a couple of weeks. The menu features German regional cooking, but with carefully sourced raw ingredients and prepared with Michelin-class care. Every meal I've had was simply outstanding.Located in the Schöneberg district, this may be off the beaten track for some, but it's well worth the EUR 10 for a taxi from, say, Alexanderplatz. The restaurant can be tough to spot from the street - it is on the ground floor of the Axel Hotel, noted for its gay vibe. (The restaurant also has occasional drag shows and other special events, if you're interested)But back to the food. First, you must try their cocktails, which are exceptional, particularly those containing their bespoke gins (hence the name "Juniper"). For starters, if the pumpkin soup is on the menu, try it! It is truly delicious. And the ravioli pillows are as good as anything I've ever tasted. For mains, all of the dishes are as tasty as they are beautiful. I particularly like the lamb. And don't miss a side of their truffle fries, which are absolutely an experience to remember.Honestly, this is really a restaurant that is worth visiting. Fantastic value for money.
If you are looking for delicious food, fabulous cocktails, friendly, efficient, attentive service without being intrusive then Juniper Kitchen & Bar is the restaurant for you when visiting Berlin. The drag show was great fun, very entertaining with brilliant music. Juniper was a great start to a night out, staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful they happily recommended some late night bars for us to finish our night off. Book a table you won't be disappointed.
Delicious, inventive, original international cuisine in the heart of the gay district in Schöneberg. Fun drag shows, friendly serves and a lively atmosphere make this a great stop for dining in Berlin.
Could not ask for more for breakfast, hot and cold items in a buffet style, made for a great start to the day.
Chatty and amiable front of house, but needs to pay attention to detail. Delicious raviloli made in house, but the rest of the meal was only OK. Not sure how to classify the restaurant in terms of what it is. Good central location just off the shopping centre of town. Give it a go. It has ambitious aspirations and I expect it can be better than the quiet night we were there. Reasonable price.
