Habels Lindenwirtin - Berlin

Staying nearby I decided ..find a typical German restaurant..few hundred meters away was an easy find. Ordered schnitzel and fried potatoes with salad. It filled the plate so this wasnt a small meal. Very nice with a few beers of which you have a good choice. With my limited German and the waiters limited English we did ok in communicating. Would I go back...yes of course.

The food and beer was very good..I have nothing bad to say about it.Very quiet place.I recomand it!.

We really hoped we will have nice german dinner there, but it was disappointing. We both ordered goose liver with smashed potatoes and that was what we got but there was nothing what makes it a good gastronomic experience, just a big amount of meat and a little potato and in the top of that, the waiter totally ignored us after he served the dish, I wanted to order some other beer and some dessert, but after 15 minutes we decided to leave. With the german customers the waiter asked them very nicely in every 2 minutes if they need anything, so it was weird and discriminating. Not nice impression at all.

A really good restaurant with typical berlin kitchen. The Scavenger is great, the beats are like Grandma. You can sit outside. Good wines, good beer.

A real pearl in Berlin. Everyone who puts value on good German cuisine and also with a large part is right here. Price performance for the situation completely fine. Service super friendly... Only places should be booked in the evening as it can be full. Especially in the evenings.
