Bidra med feedbackHome cooking Japanese Food sounds great but in reality the cuisine has nothing to do with home cooked Japanese food. Frozen Hamachi Sashimi, cold Yakitori skewers, raw chicken cubes. Waitress didn’t even say sorry! Furthermore the restaurant and its facilities are not clean at all.
We stopped at this little restaurant, not too convinced (doesn't look much from the outside) we decided to go in as it was full. It has very little space and a small terrasse. Only one waiter speaks English. Very nice and helpful. The sushi,...tempura and maki were a delight. Fresh and made on-the-spot. We were and ordered different platters. We paid including drinks beers We were looking for quality and freshness and frankly, this place has it. Will go back. Recommend.
Absolutely fabulous! Great athmosphere, beautiful interieur, skillfully and elegantly arranged and prepared meals! The prices are very good for the quality of the food. It's nice japanese kitchen, not too traditional but with a great personal touch. But they offer as well japanese dishes that...are harder to find in most places, like udon, unagi don, even matcha ice cream.. And some korean dishes like bibimbap. I would say the variations are superb. The miso soup -my favourite with salmon and sesame inside. Fantastic!
Very tasty, visually very appealing and although the crew was only two and the store was full of kitchen), with very attentive and good service. That was certainly not the last visit there!! P.S. If it looks like there's no more room to watch, the restaurant goes pretty far back.
Since Japanese food is one of our favorites, we've tried many places from US to Latin America and Europe, and Cubo was a great find in Berlin. Great miso soup and imaginative sushi rolls. Highly recommended.
