Bidra med feedbackVery sweet, yummy and inexpensive. A delight in Mitte for tourists seeking a relaxed atmosphere and food!
Great salads! We had a cauliflower slaw with Asian flavorings, and a great fresh fruit salad with at least 10 different kinds of fruit; it all looked fresh, and probably the kind varies. It seems like everything in the cafe is organic there are a selection of sandwiches and baked goods. We came in the evening so the baked goods were already getting old and were not that good; they are apparently delivered from a local baker in the morning...but the salads and our egg/ham/brie sandwich were clearly home made and fresh. They also have a fun selection of packaged organic desserts like chocolate and cookies, and nice tea options. The location, of course, is excellent: it's quite close to Friedrichstrasse station, where non touristy food can be hard to find. The atmosphere was very cute slightly rustic the cafe is tiny but attached to an organic bakery/deli/teashop that has some nicer seating if barstools aren't your thing. Even if not everything we ordered was completely spectacular, the place seemed to have many unique options and is a really nice little corner to relax at while you're in Mitte.
I like this place a lot for lunch. You can get a large salad for a good price and they let you choose 3 options to combine. Everything I've had has been pretty tasty! Also the people who there are welcoming and friendly. You do have to stand to eat, but that's understandable given the size of the space.
