Bidra med feedbackRice is meh, refried beans are good, hot chocolate not a mix I think (bonus points here) but made in water so meh, green enchilada sauce good, red sauce is not (tastes like blended from a jar). Burrito filling was not very flavorful but it was large.Pretty good food overall, but feels super overpriced especially when it’s all to go containers and plastic utensils. $45 for a burrito enchiladas and a hot chocolate before tax which is what I would pay in Boston.
I love Vermont for it's hole-in-the-wall gems like the late Indian restaurant/gas station in West Rutland. There's some seriously good eats to be had if you can find them. Arandas is no different. Attached to a garden center with an adorable cat, Arandas serves the real deal Mexican food; the best I've had in the region. I've only given it four stars because I wish it was a legitimate sit-down restaurant even if that means they'd be sacrificing a bit of charm.
The best Mexican food in the region! Mole sauce is great and the stuffed poblanos are awesome. Great place to get take out or eat in at the picnic tables.
We ordered the tacos al pastor and the chicken taquitos. We also ordered the chips and salsa. The tacos and the taquitos were both good. The chips and salsa was about 10 chips with pico de gallo. I did not think that was a good deal or what I was actually expecting. Pricing was kind of expensive but I do realize everything is going up at this time.
It has been a LONG time since I took a bite of food and experienced authenticity. This food exuded the authenticity of food made from love. This is someone's family food, someone's ancestor's food, someone's heritage. And the someone who took our order and served us was authentically happy to share this food. Go. Bypass the other local taco shops. This is a gem.
