Bidra med feedbackI 'm sure it 's a matter of personal preference, but I didn 't like the food. The korma, the chole samosa, and the three chutneys (which come with the naan) the parts of the meal that should have flavor tasted uniformly bad. Not bad for the price range though, to be honest, the prices are a bit discouraging just bad for any price range, it 's food I wouldn 't eat unless I had to.The naan itself was fluffy and fresh though, and the mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts were good. Also, the vibe is nice.
The restaurant offers very generous portions of delicious food and great cocktails. The only issue is that the service could be more attentive.
Tigerlily did not meet our expectations. We went there for a date night and were seated very close to another couple in a restaurant that was not very busy. The decor gave off an Italian restaurant atmosphere rather than a fusion Indian restaurant. The food was quite heavy, with my kale dish even coming out with a slice of butter on top which I mistakenly ate whole. The vegetable pakora was tasty, but they drowned it in chutney instead of serving it on the side. The service started off well, but once we received our food, it was hard to get their attention to ask for the check.
Isaac creates a fantastic Samurai cocktail! It's one of the best drinks I've ever had - you should definitely try one.
Tonight we ate at Tigerlily for the second time. We walked in very early on a Saturday night and promised to be out of there in about 30 minutes if they'd seat us without a reservation. They agreed courteously and never gave us the feeling that we should hurry. More importantly, the two starters I had in place of an entree (glazed brussel sprouts and the paneer-beet-tomato salad) were extraordinarily good and my husband's whole Tandoori fish was excellent. Highly recommend.
