Morell's Bread - Berkeley

Beautiful gorgeous bread! We are so lucky they are here- no one makes bread like Morell’s. The Sesame Is my absolute favorite.

I stopped here after going to a nearby bakery. Reviewing their website, I was going to get the sourdough bread. But after seeing the dejection, I decided in the sesame loaf. The sesame loaf has a nice nutty flavor due to the sesame seeds. It went well with the Brie I ate it with. I will need to try the sourdough next time to see how it taste.

YUM yum yum yum yum yum Fresh crunchy sesame encrusted sourdough baguette buttered up and eaten with hot tea on a rainy morning heaven! The people who work here also seem really nice. The hours posted above are incorrect. I dropped by on a Wednesday morning at 9am and it was open for business.

That is the second time I 'm getting my bread from them and it is the absolute best bread you can get in the Bay Area. I 'm original from Germany and I love bread which I was missing the most when we moved to California. I 'm driving all the way from Fremont to get my breadfix and it is worth it every time. I have only one complaint The Most Delicious Smell Of Bread In My Car , and I can 't eat before I 'm back home. Please keep up making that delicious bread for everyone to enjoy.

I tried Morell's Bread for the first time today. It's just so delicious! Keep in mind this location is only open on Wednesdays. Very convenient, I ordered bread on their website on Tuesday evening, and at 8:30 am on Wednesday I picked up warm bread for breakfast. Yummy!
