Bidra med feedbackPicked up a Roti chicken curry fillet for the first time today at PUUR Surinamese for EUR 13 (including roti plate and curry egg). Received EUR 0.50 discount because I wanted to pick it up cold. Nowadays you have to pay 2 euros extra for the egg almost everywhere, at Puur it is already included in the meal. And this one is not only cooked (as with many toko's) but also nicely prepared in the curry! The roti plate tastes exactly as it should! I still thought it was an “adapted Surinamer” in the village, but luckily this is not the case. An authentic place with super friendly staff. Definitely going back again for the roti and then I will also try the fresh bara. Looking forward to it already!
The portions are now half smaller!, and the price has gone up! A portion of roti now consists of 8 beans, 4 pieces of potato and 6 pieces of chicken with which you can barely fill the 6 euro plate! Shame on you for offering so little for so much money! Service: Take out Meal type: Other
Hartstikke handig!
The food tastes great! Not great but not bad either. But to then charge €5 for some sandwiches is, in my opinion, very outrageous. To give an example, in Rotterdam at Asha a pom sandwich costs €3.25 and it tastes as it should. At Puur Surinaams they charge €5 for a sandwich. I feel that Puur Surinamese is abusing the location where they are and the people who live there.
