Bidra med feedbackGeneral The place was still completely hidden to us – and that, although it is quite close to our apartment. But it did not appear in any “list” of the city of Bergisch Gladbach. But when looking for restaurants that open at noon, it finally fell. The restaurant is located on the grounds of the tennis club “SV Blau Weiß Hand” and is surrounded by many green areas. Ambiente The dining area is located in the “height”. Below the building has the changing rooms and rooms for tennis members. The toilets for guests of the restaurant are also in this area. So you have to climb a few steps to get to the place and on the other side to the sanitary area descend a staircase. The first guest room on the stairs also houses the counter and overlooks the kitchen. Further through to the left hand are still small halls there should be space for up to 120 people. Here was a larger company for a festival 60 standing on the wall. Around the local area there is a narrow “circle” an outdoor terrace with some places. Cleanliness Everything worked well maintained. The decor was like in a bistro: bare tables and stable chairs; but with some decoration at the place. The napkins were made of paper, the cutlery simply kept. Service The waiter was extremely friendly and happy to provide information on the map. However, he could not understand all the questions, because he might have been Italian, but could also have been an East European mouth. I love the Italian language, but I don't rule it right. The map n There are a few appetizers, relatively many pasta dishes and also pizza. Meat and fish are less strongly represented; Kids menu and dessert complete the offer. There are also plenty of offers for drinks. Tasty dishes on the way: pizza rolls, olives, bread cream The rolls were warm and relatively compact. The olives were green and black representatives. The cream was soft and had a high fat content. She was good to distribute. No. 4: Antipasto Mixed appetizer of grilled vegetables and tomatoes Mozzarella, Parmaschinken Melone – 11,00 € It was tomato with mozzarella and basil; grilled eggplant slices and zucchini slices; melon with ham; Paparikanipsel; dried inlaid tomatoes; marinated mushrooms mushrooms; a piece of gorgonzola; a salami disc with grated parmesan and a piece of broschetta. So a pleasant mix of the Antipasto department. No. 40: Biagio with tuna, onions, paprikaschoten 11,50 € Why this pizza bears this name, I couldn't determine. Maybe she should remember a singer with this first name or St. Blasius. In the Catholic Church on 3. February or even a blessing before the day. Blasius translates: the lispelnde belongs to the group of emergency helpers. He is said to have saved life to a soldier who had swallowed a fishgrats. Therefore, the blessing is to protect against neck diseases and other evils. Anyway, we didn't swallow each other. On the contrary, the pizza was great. The dough was thin and crispy on the edge. The coating was pleasantly distributed and well seasoned. We were very happy with it. Table dish: Doradenfilet, Pasta Aglio, Olio e Peperoncino in lemon sauce – 15, 50 € The small fillet was fried on the skin, well seasoned and juicy. But I would have done differently: I would have given the tasty sauce with fine citrus notes on the plate, put the fish on it and absolutely put the skin side up so that it remains crispy. Here it was vice versa: the skin was down and the sauce above the fish. But it tasted so well. The spaghetti were al dente. The accompaniment consisted of olives, small gentle chili pieces, garlic and olive oil. I would have liked some fresh parmesan. But the court was so tasty. Drinks San Pellegrino 0,75 l – 6,00 € Gaffel Kölsch 0.2 l – 1,60 € The Kölsch was well cooled and fresh – the price is quite favorable in Cologne – depending on the close proximity to the cathedral, you can also take 2.20 € and more. to the house: Espresso, Grappa The coffee was pleasantly roasted and hot. The liquor was well cooled. Always a successful conclusion price performance ratio The prices seem quite favorable. Conclusion 3 – if it results. Providing points: open daily at noon, easy to reach by bus, pizza convincing – pasta and meat dishes are still open. 1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it arises again, 4 – happy again, 5 – absolutely again – after “Kuechenreise” Date of visit: 10.09.2023 – midday – 2 people My enjoyable experiences also stand with [here link]
