If they are vegetarian, they should have a decent choice. when I left, they had vegetarian lasagne on special. they had vegan tomato soup and soy latte, but that was for vegan options. the menu is Norwegian, but the counter-personal knew everything about vegan diet and told me happy about their choice, asking if I wanted olive oil, instead of butter on my brot, etc. that was impressive. I would not go out of the way to eat here, but they have free Wi-Fi and a friendly atmosphere with tables where they can relax. the hotel is located on the busy tourist shopping street.
I think it's a real stretch to have this caffe included on happycow. on my recent visit there was no vegan meal option available and the vegetarian options seemed no more plentiful than any other restaurant in the opposite. on a positive note, the personal was aware of what a vegan is, which is always a good start, and there was a vegan brownie in the cake display, which although the size of a matchbox was even better than no lunch at all. cafe aura is a nice enough place to cool out, only do not expect them overwhelmed with (every) choice.
This seems to be a popular place with the locals, coffee and tees of different descriptions are served. there is a small menu with main dishes, salads and desserts as well as two soups. I had the carrots rather than the dead, and it was delicious and interesting. I also had a feta salad made of salat (iceberg,) carrots, tomatos, gurke, mun sprouts, black olives, kidney beans, salsa and a hunk of feta in the middle, with a beautiful crumble balsamico dressing. both objects came with fresh, sweet brot.
So rude! we waited for 20 minutes on the table after talking to the waiter in which he never pointed out that accusations are taken on the theke. the place was almost empty. when we asked for the long waiting period, he answered very rudely that this is not a restaurant. a real scandal, the place was beautiful and eating menu seemed good. learn to treat their customers with respect!
