Delightful restaurant with homemade Bergamasco dishes and super friendly owner. Alfresco dining on an pen square with views of the hills in the background. Couple of starters and a main course shared between 2 people did the trick. House red wine very good. Only comment is avoid the cheese dish as for €11 EUR its a bit expensive, otherwise highly recommended.

51€ for these small meals. That’s too overpriced!! We didn’t get full at all after eating. The food didn’t taste special either. The restaurant was always full and loud. It took us fast 30 minutes in order to pay, because no one really cared. I would never come back here again.

Amazing restaurant in a special location in Bergamo’s upper town. Great for traditional food and wine (house wine recommended). Service is up to expectations too and really good value for money. Will definitely come back.

Se volete una cucina tradizionale fatta dall'arte, trovando i sapori genuini del passato, la taverna teatrale è il posto giusto. forse l'unico ristorante che riflette le tradizioni di Bergamo è rimasto in città. la signora sempre amichevole e amichevole vi farà sentire a vostro agio. personalmente lo consiglierei più di molti altri ristoranti blasonati in città
