Bidra med feedbackThis establishment has great food, but needs better hours. Very often, I would want to go for dinner....because I usually have working lunches and I pack my lunch. Otherwise, a great lunch restaurant. The Torta always impresses me, but I just had the Chicken-Bacon Avocado Panini and it needs a sauce. Review over.
Came to Happy Jacks for the first we had no idea what to expect. Upon arrival the inside seating area is very small it can only hold 26 people MAX. The menu is very small without much variation, which would elude to doing what they do should be done well. My wife order the Classic Jack it comes with tomatoes, she asked for no tomatoes which she was obliged without any hesitation. My daughter order the Chicken Katsu it lacked in flavor. I ordered the Italian, the ciabattabread was fantastic, the pesto cream cheese was amazing. You are not allowed to substitute anything onto your sandwich. They have no pickles????????(wouldn?t put them on anyway) No fountain drinks. They charge for all beverage?s no waterunless it?s bottled. The chips, I really like. To get French fries it?s a $2.50 up charge????. When you receive the fries they are extremely under cook. This establishment is very unpleasant, only one employee in the place was nice!Everyone else seemed as if the knew they are serving you subpar food for inflated prices, and are upset about it. Like your presence is an inconvenience to their depressive state!!!! I will not return for any menu item they offer, verybelow average food, also three sandwiches three bottles of water and two orders of fries that are inedible will set you back $45 dollars. The pulled beef was terrible, it?s probably why they say most people order the chicken
Very cute, very clean, small menu but multiple options for vegans which was great! I had a tofu Banh Mi and my husband had the Veggie Hummus Grill. We liked mine and loved his. Great prices too, our sandwiches were around $8 apiece. Definitely worth a stop if you want a big step up from a traditional turkey-and-cheese type of sandwich!
The price for the portion size is high. Less forgivable, the quality of the food ranges from decent to inedible. While the Sweet Potato Black Bean Soup and Beef Italian were fine, the Tofu Bahn Mi was extreme salty and skimped on in the Chicken Katsu was underdone and had to be thrown out. Oddly enough, Noodle Nirvana, also associated with Third Space Kentucky, is consistently delicious and high quality. Do yourself a favor and walk around the corner for some tastynoodles. You?ll be much happier than at Happy Jack?s.
What a great lunch spot! We were strolling through the town of Berea and came upon this great sandwich spot. My husband and I tried two sandwiches recommended by the gentleman behind the counter. They came cut in half so we split them. Order the Bahn Mi with chicken and the Italian with beef. One was rich and delicious, the other light and popping with flavor. I highly recommend Happy Jacks.
