Bidra med feedbackWow. Great food. Perhaps the best Japanese food in Bangalore. Wonderful ambiance and service. Obliging staff. Reasonable prices. Definitely recommend. An update : Yataii has a fantastic new Chef from Japan. Yoshinori Mizutani San, Samurai Chef extraordinaire, who has infused a new sparkle to the fabulous menu through his presentation. Must try chicken gyōzas, shitake mushrooms, spicy tuna Maki, tuna Hamachi carpaccio (italian Japanese fusion), cream cheese and asparagus Maki, miso black cod, seaweed (Wakame) salad and the veg pancake. Without a doubt, one of India's finest and world class Japanese restaurants. Thank you to chef and Sharda for making our experience memorable.
Excellent atmosphere. Food is pretty close to authentic. Chef Tanu is so friendly, knowledgeable and skillful.
Food was not up to par. For a supposed Japanese restaurant at a 5 star hotel, many things missing. No tea served, fried rice was offered on individual plates instead of small bowls, overall food lacked any Japanese taste to it. Stay away from the Teppanyaki items as Chef in charge of that section clearly needs to go spend some time in Japan to figure out what Japanese food is supposed to taste like. Dissapointing
I absolutely loved the food here! The ambiance was also wonderful, and the staff were courteous and attentive. The ingredients used in the dishes were fresh and high-quality. This restaurant is a must-try for all Japanese cuisine lovers. I was especially thrilled to be able to try real wasabi for the first time.
Yataii is the best restaurant for authentic Japanese food. It is said that food is the part of culture of a society and so if you want to feel Japanese culture through its cuisine, you must try food at Yataii. You will also find hospitality at the restaurant similar to what you would get in a resturant in Japan.
