Roam - Bend

We enjoyed all aspects of our evening at ROAM. Kevin was attentive and personable. The scallops and Brussels were creative and delicious. We will return!

I've never eaten there, but caught a glimpse of the drink menu recently. Buffalo Trace bourbon is not a wheated bourbon. They use mashbill #1 and that is corn/rye/barley. They do make a kosher wheated version, but I've never seen it in Oregon. Also, Plantation rum is pluralized. “3 StarS.” Much love. Hope to check it out soon. Breakfast looks dope!

Quiet, good food, prompt service and attention. A really nice atmosphere. A suggestion, don't use Big Ed's bread, it's not a selling point.

Okay food, good cocktails, mediocre atmosphere. When this place opened, I really wanted to like it. The menu seemed inspired, the cocktails inventive, and the decor minimalistic, yet stylish. After having been twice now, I am not sure that I would go again. I have tried several dishes and they have mostly been alright, but not at all memorable. This was the worst meal I’ve had in my 17 years in Bend. The old fashioned was good, the calamari was tasty but our main dishes were awful. The wagyu bolognese was flavorless while the burger was a terrible mix of flavors and we did not eat it. Our server offered us a complimentary dessert but after the main dish performance, we politely declined.
