Ned's Diner - Belvidere

Looking for a bit extensive search for local breakfast places, while a weekly tradition of breakfast with my vater, we crowned Ned’s, like the best breakfast place in the opposite, after our opinion. eating is excellent and of high quality and the service is attentive and fast. neds has by far the fastest and most common coffee cup refill, which with diner coffee is often a more important metric than taste or quality, but again here is another point for ned’s because their coffee is very good. neds location is another plus for me, it can be a tiny walk for them when they live in the center or west rockford, but it is worth coming out of the urban jungle. it is close enough, but also like a trip to the graphic. a last metric of rating breakfast places for me is how often my vater angrily overlooks where his eating or the waiting staff are, and in this, neds achieves a perfect 10/10 rating for zero times of my vater be impatient.

This is a great spot. It looks to be either recently remodeled or at least very well maintained. The service was on point, with just the right amount of warmups on the coffee and check-ins on the dining. I've eaten at a lot of diners, and Ned's checks the boxes for quality and friendliness of a small local joint without losing any of the amenities and creature comforts you'd find at a larger but more impersonal chain restaurant. Ned's bridges the gap between last millennium's romanticized roadside American diner, and this millennium's drive towards the modernized cafe environment. Even if I have no reason to pass through the area again, I'll take time out of my way to get a bite at Ned's.

I have a child who doesn’t do well with new environments and the staff here really went above and beyond to make us comfortable. They didn’t react to my sons meltdowns and even sat us in an area that was a bit more private so he wasn’t as overwhelmed. Aside from the awesome accommodations, the food was excellent. We tried a little bit of everything in the breakfast section and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend you stop in and try this place if you haven’t before!

We loved this place. It’s very clean. We got there around 11AM on a Tuesday and place was packed. As soon as we got inside a waiter came by to help us find a table right away. There is always one person offering coffee going around all the time and refills it as needed. Our order came out in no time, ham and cheese omelets, sausage, bacon, toast bread. Everything was delicious. Everybody was nice and friendly. Very happy with this place. We recommend

I really wish I would ever remember to take pictures while we were there of the food. We will definitely go back to this restaurant. We were in the area for soccer but I think we would make the hour drive because it was that good. Their prices were very reasonable as well. We went for breakfast I am sure that everything else is just as good!
