Bidra med feedbackMore a bar than a restaurant. We could get tapas and sandwiches for dinner but no more options than that. Super reasonal prices!!
This is a great little, local bar/restaurant in the small town of Belmonte, right near the archway leading to the cathedral. Really nicely cooked, local dishes large portions! It's not much to look at, but the staff are very friendly accommodating, and the food is great!
If you feel like really experiencing life as a local, this is the spot. Local dishes, local beers, super friendly staff. I especially loved the Mule Herder's Cod dish.
If you are in Belmonte to visit the castle, be sure to stop by Bar Domingo for a bite to eat. It is a tiny place, but your will be sitting next to locals who like a good deal, too. It has a basic bar menu with sandwiches and fries and tapas. The beer is cold, and so are the juices and water if you prefer.By far the best feature of Bar Domingo was a server (or possibly an owner) who was friendly and helpful, whose English was much better than our Spanish. His kindness was as awesome as the castle.
