Village Host Pizza Grill Belmont

We live nearby and finally tried. Service is good, interior design looks really inviting at the beginning. There is a classic 80s table arcade machine (Pac Man? . But the seats have lacked the Bouncy Vinyl upholstery, so it is really painful to sit for a lot of time. Okay, well, we could forgive this if Pizza was worth going home. No. We both have the little personal pizzas and I have the combination with everything. First, the crust for the floor was 10 mm hard, like a cardboard bottom, with a slight dough rise above it. Didn't anyone really mix in yeast? Was that a frozen bunch of bad crusts that they pulled out because of a lack? The place wasn't packed, I don't understand. It was like a kind of sailor-hard tack. Secondly, the ingredients were not cooked enough for a combo pizza, so it was all watery and loose, and the cheese had thrown Cheddar. Why? It doesn't fit or doesn't improve anything. The ingredients themselves were the most basic of a can Vibe things possible, basic black olives, nothing pronounced or from a quality as well as your average pizza hat or domino's. The sauce was applied so thin that it did not bring enough taste to add the Bland vegetables and the poorly cooked cheese. And the Mozzarella? Waaaay too much, it was just a huge 15 mm cheese patty under all, slightly colored by the spirit of a sauce that avoids most bites. California has a bad reputation with pizza, and that's why. The only reason I would give him 2 stars is that people go here instead of the alternative that just showed up what is so good that it packed nonstop and I honestly are afraid that there is more and more popular. I refuse to call it. It's the best. That you say that you get the Papa John's from the top of the Molly Stones, it's better than Village Host for miles and won't overthrow my Fav Spot. Or just a frozen pizza, you could do better with Red Baron's or whatever. There is no worse place in 5 miles for fresh pizza. In Foster City, a mod pizza is better again, and I don't even like this place. For the owners and managers this is normal? When was the last time you compared your pizza with literally ANY alternatives? I know you're suffering from pizza at this point, but get out and do better than the frozen stuff at the next door of Lunardi. Sheesh.

The staff were really nice. We ordered 2 small salads and received 2 large salads without additional price. We also got a free well. It is a beautiful place and very cozy

The pizza size appears small, but perfect for my children. I have a size of about 10 pieces. I have 3 children and each had 2 slices and had some left. My oldest is a picky eater and so happy he likes the pizza here. Good sauce, perfectly cooked.

We love Village hosts, they always deliver best quality pizza never failed!!!! Fair prices for delicious pizzas!!!!

First time visiting this pizzeria and I'll definitely be back. I had the BBQ Chicken pizza and it was delicious. The ingredients were all fresh and the pizzas were cooked perfectly.
