Sushi Kuu - Belmont

We often come here and always enjoy eating and the very friendly staff. if they are looking for their friendly quarter sushi restaurant, start here.

We went there on a Wednesday evening around 8, the atmosphere was very comforting and modern. Our server Stefani was incredible, she was very attentive, but not overbearing, her knowledge of the menu was extensive and impressive. We went with her recommendation of the marinated cod and it was super buttery and melt in your mouth. The June roll was also very tasty and pleasing, the shrimp tempura was very light and came with sweet potato, pepper, and taro which were great compliments. I would without a doubt recommend this place for anything from a date to just everyday eating!

The kids had chicken udon and loved it. The chicken is so tender and the portions are big. Kelvin had sukiyaki and that was yummy. I had the short ribs bento and salmon...very tasty and enjoy the miso and salad. Reasonable pricing for lunch and the service is great. I had $1 on my stamp card...every $10 you get a $1 on your next visit.

We liked the peaceful atmosphere and it was close by and convenient.

Very good Sushi, but Gyoza tasted frozen not fresh, Miso Soup tasted like dirty bath water.
