Bidra med feedbackThey were good. At first I was a little disappointed, and I thought they were more of a looks-better-than-they-taste kind of place. Especially after trying that blueberry muffin, which was the pits. It looked great, but it did not taste good. But then the omelet was absolutely delicious. The frozen hash brown patty was... Fine. My friend got a breakfast sandwich, lox and cream cheese, which she said was also delicious. So they jumped from a three to a four-star.
My husband and I entered this café today looking for an easy, good bite. We got the Sunday brunch and were nicely surprised! The scrambled eggs were soft and creamy, and the French bread actually made with bread instead of brioche, just like in France. We also enjoyed the delicious homemade pastries. Everything was fresh; brunch changes weekly, general menu monthly. Can't wait to go back for lunch.
I waited a bit to write this review so that I could go a few times. They have weekday/Sat counter service and an all you can eat Sunday Brunch. First the counter cafe serves breakfast sandwiches, bakery items made fresh in house, quiche, potato tortilla and the like. The plated dishes come with a side of fresh fruit. Very good variety, fresh and a good value. I'm going to add this cafe to my morning routine stop in for a coffee and scone to go. The Sunday brunch is also excellent. For $18, brunch includes coffee, tea and juice, and there is a good assortment of breakfast items, pastas and salads that change weekly. There is also a fantastic dessert bar. The owner is a local resident who does a lot of the baking and takes pride in his work. Excellent food, excellent value, and a great experience.
Great croissants! They're only open till like 6 p.m. But I love getting in there for an early dinner. They are more of a catering outfit but do a decent job with coffee and light meals.
Nice cozy local coffee house. Very friendly staff :
