I was so excited to finally go to nomad and it was on my bucket list for months. we arrived shortly before the opening and when we were greeted to the opening ceremony, it seemed as if we were an inconvenience. I think the two people who work were the owners, the woman who never in contact with us was all the time when we were there, although she went several times from our table. that seemed uncomfortable from our inestimacy. we ordered a few small items, including a $5 order, the amount was about a tablespoon cheese. when my friend asked about the wine selection again, it seemed like an inconvenience to ask, he was emotionally separated. the male server could not get us fast enough the payment machine, not ask if we want more. remember, there were no other customers. we were calm and not disturbing, just not sure what was up. Maybe the two had a problem between themselves? it was a night I hope for her. Unfortunately, my excitement went away, and I really hope that others have better experiences. After we left, I checked with my friends to make sure that I don't imagine the experience. they assured me they felt the same way. I hope my contribution helps the owners to think about how they welcome/serve and chat with their guests. I can only hope they are successful and can survive their business.
Great selection of quality tapas and wine. The vibe was great. Definitely will be going back
Frances and Brian have created an impressive restaurant with excellent ambience and delicious plates and selections of foods and wine. They are so incredibly knowledgeable about their wide range of fascinating wines. My friends Renee, Todd, and I had a exceptional evening, and we all strongly recommend Noma Charcuterie.
Simply awesome. Every, single, time. Keep thinking we should venture out and try more new restaurants but we keep returning to wonderful delightful dinners at Nomad! The owners are awesome, the atmosphere is wonderful but its the food that is also 5 stars! Innovative, delicious small plates that are great for sharing among friends. Last night we had the pork belly, garden beet salad, german potatoes, meatballs in a red sauce, cheese olives samplers and savory carrots. Each dish was truly special.
We loved the ambiance and the way you can create custom charcuterie boards! The co-owner was there and she was very kind and helpful!
