Bidra med feedbackMany try to call me so that I could place order, had to go down because finally get a hired man who put me in the handle to be hanged. shouldn't have gone down and called it a night. last got order went to home and several articles did not go back to the car and drive down to retrieve items. the price has risen. the personal was not thought about the service or listening. the service is gone and my business will go elsewhere.
So this review is not based on the quality of the food. If I could give 2 and a half stars I would. I have ordered OUT from this restaurant plenty of times before, never have I been disappointed from this restaurant taste. Unfortunately, the other day I was very disappointed in the quality of staff. My coworker and I had gotten off work around 5pm and decided to go for dinner. When we gotten there, there was only one other family. When he showed us to our seat, he sat us next to the bathroom and right and I do mean RIGHT next to the other family. In a restaurant with no one else, why seat us right on top of the other family? In this corner near the bathrooms it was very dark and there was no music playing. Kinda hard to have a conversation with someone else when there's another family right there and nothing drowning out what you're saying to the other person you're with. He handed us our menus and walked away. As we where looking at our menus I pointed out that there was no drink menu. Which is okay, I would have just ordered a Sprite and moved on with my night, which my coworker also felt this equally. We sat there for about 10 minutes when the waiter came over with drinks for the family next to us. We were sitting there for 10 minutes and they finally got their drinks. How long did they wait till they got their drinks? So as we sat there and looked at this waiter we figured after she was done, she would come over to us... no she did not. We sat there for another 10 minutes contemplating on what to do. So, we decided to leave. As we left we noticed 4 other waiters behind the bar all just standing there. And they just let us leave. Didn't even acknowledged us, not even a have a good night! So, we took our money elsewhere and went to Outback. I honestly wouldn't recommend eating here, but do order out. The food is great, the service and atmosphere of the restaurant.. not so much. Also if you do ever go to Outback steakhouse ask for a waiter named Jared. You'll be very please with having him as your server.
I am revising my previous review, as the food at Bamboo Express has very much improved since they reopened. I'm actually glad that I decided to give them another chance, because there is one menu item they have (grilled, bacon-wrapped jumbo shrimp) that I really love and no other delivery restaurant in this area offers it.Delivery service was also improved. They were very quick (but they were always quick when they actually delivered) and tonight the food was nice and hot and very fresh.Something that continues to bother me is that the lady who takes the phone orders pretends not to speak English, but once you get to the restaurant you discover that she speaks better English than most of the town's high school seniors! I mean, what motivation could there possibly be for being dishonest about speaking English, if not in an effort to shirk responsibility for (or to pretend not to understand) customer complaints? They do have online ordering, but it is a painfully basic system that doesn't allow for added instructions/requests. Plus, you can't pay online, so you have to call in anyway. So then why use the online ordering system? Not to be indelicate, but the main benefit to online ordering at an ethic restaurant is to eliminate the problem of a language barrier. If that problem isn't solved by the system, then why not call the order in so that you can order things the way you want them? They rarely, if ever, changed the oil in their fry-o-lator in the past, because everything fried (absolutely everything) was completely saturated and dripping with grease and tasted like fish. But tonight that was not the case at all. I obviously can't say whether or not they are changing the oil as often as they should now, but the oil used tonight was fresh and at the proper temperature.Another habitual issue we had with Bamboo Express before was that even though they offer delivery, they would just decide on a whim to stop delivering if they got more than a couple of delivery orders at a time but didn't bother to call and tell you that, or even tell you when you placed the order. They just took the order anyway! So, when it got to the point that the food was very late and you called looking for it, THAT'S when they would tell you that they stopped delivery and that you had to come and pick it up! So you either had to go pick it up or you had to cancel the order and just trust them to remove the charge from your credit card. And, if you did go pick it up, by the time you got there and back, after such a long initial wait, the food was very old, very cold and completely saturated and dripping with grease! It wasn't as if the lady who took the order, or the payment for online orders, didn't know how many delivery orders they had. I mean, she's the one who took the orders! So, to me, it seemed like it had to be by design in an effort to try to force you into going to pick it up. Nothing like that happened tonight though.I don't know if they've really reformed the way they do things, or if they just weren't busy this evening, but tonight there were no issues at all.I hope they continue to improve in the future because when Bamboo Express is on its really very good.
We live in uxbridge and drive a good 25 minutes to get bamboo express, the food is always amazing and fresh, and the food is not hard after you eat it, and it is not fat. By far the best place around
This place was found by chance. I'm very picky about my Chinese food. My daughters and I often eat here in the last few months. The food has always tasted fresh and the staff is very friendly. Chicken wings have a perfect crispy skin on them.
