Bidra med feedbackFood at all three tastings was absolutely trash. Had to go with another caterer.
Disappointment. We had 7 guests no-show. All guests were served but my husband and Priest had no food. He had to go find someone and they told him they were out of food. Then they showed up with two plates, one beef and one chicken. Both should have been beef dinners. Said this is all we have . What if the 7 no-shows would have been there???? Mashed potatoes on the chicken dinners were ice cold for the three tables I checked with. Maid of honor is gluten-free, yet she had a roll on her salad plate. This caterer was not my choice, but was the option for the venue we chose. Venue and staff amazing, but Save the Date a huge disappointment. And never did the caterer check in with me through the evening. The staff at the venue managing the bar service was ALWAYS checking if everything was okay, going well, etc. Not the caterer.
We hired Save the Date Catering for my sisters wedding and had the worst experience. We paid an extra two charges to have TWO tastings to settle the menu. We were amazed with the food during the tasting and were looking forward to the meal during the wedding. We ordered 190 plates of food at $27 per plate. The meal we ordered is not what was served. All plates came out cold. The garlic whipped potatoes we tried and ordered were bland, instant mashed potatoes. The green bean almandine we ordered were bland, raw green beans with zero seasoning. The steak tenderloin we ordered was not served and they substituted with raw salisbury steak. The chicken piccata we ordered was served as a fried breaded mess that was nothing like what we ordered/ tasting. No salt, pepper, or butter was available on tables to make the meal edible. Overall, the $5k we spent on food ended with cold, bland, disgusting food being served to our guest.
We hired Save the Date for our wedding and it was AMAZING! Kylie was quick to responses in all of our emails and very accommodating during all the covid transitions. The food was absolutely delicious. We had family come from all over and people from Chicago were ranting and raving about how it was the best wedding food they have ever had. One of them was in her 80s so she has had a lot of wedding food!! People have texted us saying how fabulous it was and how they went up for 2nds and filled their plates lol. One person said i don 't even like carrots but these are AMAZING! I would recommend Save the Date over and over again!
This catering company was so awesome to work with! Their food was impeccable. We had two options, fried chicken and quinoa stuffed portobellos, with mac and cheese and garlic broccoli and people loved it! They were so affordable! We added on cake service and they had our cake ready to go within a few minutes of our first cut. I worked mostly with Kylie, but Brenda was there to coordinate on the day and make sure everything went smoothly. They were both awesome to work with. They also ensured that people who ordered mushrooms received them by not actually putting them on the buffet line, but rather serving them one at a time when people came up. When the DJ announced seconds, most people got up for more. There was definitely plenty to go around, but people were enjoying the food so much, there was none leftover! We would definitely use them again.
