Bidra med feedback4 Stars Incredible Food, but an Annoying Policy Din Tai Fung in Bellevue is an awesome place with food that’s nothing short of impeccable. Every dish is bursting with flavor, and the quality is consistently top notch. It’s a spot I always look forward to visiting. However, they have a frustrating policy of not seating you until your entire party has arrived, which can be a real inconvenience. It’s a minor annoyance in the grand scheme of things, but it does take away from an otherwise fantastic dining experience. Despite that, the food is worth the wait, and I’ll definitely be back!
WOW!!! I can confidently say that this restaurant is one of the best I have been to in the States! The food : tasty and delicious The service : wonderful and professional The atmosphere : warm and pleasant I definitely recommend Din Tai Fung to everyone! 5+ stars
This was my first time eat at DTF and I would definitely go back for the spicy wontons! The service was amazing and the interior was beautiful. We asked our host for their recommendation and ordered the cucumber salad, pork xlb, spicy wontons, and garlic green beans. All of the food was fresh and the reason i’m giving a 4 star review for food is bc although the flavor didn’t wow me, I know that the food will be consistently good when I go in the future. My favorite item was definitely the spicy wonton and personally I would order that over the xlb. Food is solid, ambience is beautiful, service is great.
Great food! I highly recommend the pork Xiao long bao and the chicken dumplings. However, in my opinion, the best thing on the menu is the string beans with garlic. Hands down, the best green beans I've ever eaten in my life. I wish I could get them to be that crisp and perfectly cooked at home but I cannot. In fact, I cannot make any of the menu items as well as they do so it's with the . Also, the super pointy chopsticks were perfect for the food.
It was an extraordinary experience at DTF Bellevue, perhaps because I've been a loyal customer at their original store in Taipei, Taiwan. It's evident that they worked hard to create an atmosphere that matches the trendy restaurants in town. DTF has been one of my favorite restaurants in Taipei, with consistent quality and excellent service in Taiwan. I’m confident they are striving to maintain, if not exceed, those standards at their overseas locations. I enjoyed the hot and sour soup, noodles with sesame sauce, and the chocolate mochi XLB tonight. I think I might even prefer the taste here over what’s offered at the Taipei location. The shrimp fried rice is good, but the rice itself might be a bit too moist, which makes it less than perfect. I would say that DTF serves the world’s best fried rice at their Taipei locations, i hope they can improve overtime here in North America. Perhaps their signature Xiao Long Bao needs the most improvement compared to what’s served at their Taipei location. The meat filling and the broth haven't blended together as they do back home, which is somewhat disappointing to me. Although Din Tai Fung offers Taiwanese Xiao Long Bao, which evolved from Shanghai cuisine, what Din Tai Fung seeks is not a strong flavor but a balance of taste, along with a healthier approach to cooking. Some Chinese people may not appreciate Taiwanese Xiao Long Bao because they are not used to resisting the temptation of strong flavors and greasy ingredients. If you enjoy food at this DTF location, I highly recommend you to go visit Taipei and try making a comparison between the food here and the food back their homeland. Vegetarian options: If you have a chance to visit Taipei’s store, the veggie steam dumplings is at different level. Having said that, it is still good here. Parking: Free parking, no need to validate, to register or to pay for parking. Kid-friendliness: Kids love chocolate Mochi XLB Wheelchair accessibility: Spacious enough for wheel chair access
