Cépaé Tasting Room - Bellevue

Given the poor service, lack of attention to detail, and the disappointing customer service skills displayed during my visit, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Cépaé to anyone seeking an enjoyable dining experience. It's a shame that a potentially great dining spot fails so miserably in the most crucial aspects of hospitality. Save your time and money by exploring other options in the area where you'll receive the service and attention you deserve.Additionally, these desserts should be incredible considering the hefty $15 and $16 price tag. But both were mediocre and poorly flavored facades attempting to masquerade as fine French desserts.

Mediocre at best. What is happening to Bellevue? All of this potential, but not quite meeting the mark. If you want upscale establishments, then have impeccable food, service and ambience.Upon receiving menus, we were advised that they were out of duck, lamb and I believe the ribeye. They don't have a lot to choose from, so being out of these items on a Thursday night is a head scratcher. We ended up ordering 8oz. Kobe beef burger w/black squid ink bun for $29.00, yes that's right a burger for $29.00! My date and I requested they be cooked medium. The center was rare on both. If you are going to charge that price for an upscale burger, please have a chef that knows how to properly cook them. No complaints about the server. Not a memorable experience. At least for a first date, the company was great.

Only giving it 4 stars bc we didn't try the food! However the waitress who helped us was soo nice very knowledgeable about the wine! Made wonderful recommendations. It smells yummy in there, and the chocolate mousse was being ordered like crazy. We live very far from Bellevue, but if we were ever back in the area, we would return for a glass of wine and some French pastries.
