Pho Viet - Belleville

The food was okay but I was expecting better, having heard rave reviews about this restaurant from friends

Went to get food for take out. Walked in excited since we haven 't had vietnamese since before quarantine. My daughter and I were having a fun short road trip and had been driving around (got lost a few times) and finally found Viet Pho. We walked in and there were two people eating and we were super excited and hungry. The man behind the counter semi stressed says (no hello, anything) Are you here for take out? I said no we haven 't ordered yet. We are a three hour wait right now, if you ordered now. I said, What? three hours? I worked in restaurants for over 20 years and I have never, in the busiest restaurants in TO, Calgary, Vancouver, Montreal, been told there is a three hour wait for an order. Even if we sat in the restaurant he said it would be three hours. So did the people sitting there eating wait three hours? Really weird. I never write bad reviews on restaurants because I usually side with the underpaid servers and cooks who work so hard and get treated like garbage a lot of the time but this was terrible. He was rude, the place was dirty and to then lie to me that he wouldn 't take my order for three hours, which is conveniently when they close was just ridiculous. Would never go back and would never order from them.

Great food for a decent price, Lovely set up for the perfect grab and go meal The staff was also a great help with the menu options

I had better Vietnamese food. I ordered vermicelli and broken rice. It’s not as tasty but it did its job, it made me full.
