Olympic Restaurant - Belleville

The food we typically order is consistently delicious and the staff is friendly. The prices are reasonable. We usually visit for dinner and have also stayed for breakfast twice.

Our large group of about 13 people had a reservation at this restaurant. The terrace was very hot, with not enough shading to block the sun. The waitress was very accommodating and continuously refilled our ice water, and also brought us free garlic bread. However, the flavors seemed off - the garlic bread tasted more like butter and roasted bread, and the Greek salad dressing was too sweet. The rice lacked flavor and the Caesar salads were overly garnished with green beans. The pasta dishes were too saucy, with thick and gooey sauce. The nacho platter, pizza, and beer were enjoyable. Overall, the restaurant could use more attention to the quality and taste of their dishes. The menu also needs to be updated. The location is good, but with so many other competing restaurants, I probably wouldn't come back.

My friend and I had breakfast at The Olympic. The service was quick, but the waitress was not very friendly. She didn't introduce herself and we had to ask for more coffee. She practically tossed the bill onto the table, which was just a small white slip of paper with the total written on it. The breakfast was good and there was plenty of food.

Service was good, food came fast and was quite delicious. Many rooms and an obvious favorite with locals, as the waitress called the name! Definitely recommended for a fast bite or a serious meal.

I had the blueberry pancakes and boy was I glad I did. I don't know if i was just super hungry or hungover or what. But they were the best dam pancakes I've had in years. Bacon done to perfection and what ya that's right...I got four pieces not that GTA 3 pitiful tiny bacons. No I got four full size cooked just right bacons. That where it stops tho. Coffee coulda' been better alot better and frozen store bought home fries boo. Still I would go back on account of those pancakes alone.
