Rotolo's Pizzeria - Belle Chasse

I was in the area and needed lunch asap. I saw this pizzeria and decided to try them out. I wanted a calzone days ago so I asked if they served any. Luckily they did, I ordered one from the menu with a couple extra toppings to place inside of it. The lady behind the bar who took my order was a gem, my calzone was ready in no time, and the service was excellent! Calzone was great by the way!!If you should ever find yourself in the area, do yourself the favor of grabbing something from Rotolo's. Your taste buds will thank you!!!

Just Eh…Have not eaten here in quite some time. Ordered pick up of meat pizza which did look very good. Other order was the Popeye and added mushrooms and tomatoes. The toppings were scant, especially the added ones at $2.50 each. Probable had 6-8 small mushroom pieces and as many tomatoes. Toppings started a full 2+ inches from the edge. I usually enjoy pizza crust but threw it out as it had no taste at all. Ordered a spinach cranberry side salad but changed the dressing to balsamic.Watched an employee check every box against the order and still wound up with the wrong dressing AND old gross spinach. Brought it back. They opened a new bag of spinach, and even though the container was again inspected, this time I inspected myself. Wrong dressing again.Quality control needs work. Pizza was tasty except that the toppings covered only the size of maybe a medium pizza. May be another long time before I try them again.

All the ingredients inside my sister and my Calzone were raw. The menu said roasted garlic but it was raw, the red onions were raw, the spinach was raw. It was awful. Also I asked if I could switch the sauce in my calzone and the waitress said yes but neglected to tell me it was going to be an extra charge. There was also a pasta dish ordered and there was a half cup of olive oil in the bowl after the pasta was ate.

If you haven't tried this place already make the time to go ! Absolutely can't say enough how fantastic the food is ! Service was top notch , fast, friendly and welcoming. Try the new Ricotta dip...plus whatever else looks good ,I guarantee it will be
