Creperie du Vincou - Bellac

We stumbled across this little restaurant as we walked around Bellac. Warming welcome and with our poor french and their good English we ordered and was not disappointed as below their steak was bang on as well as the sweets on offer so good by the end of the week we had visited again yes again food and hosts spot on thank you

2nd year I have spent my summer holiday in the area. And second time I have had several dinners here over that holiday. This is my go to place for good food at a reasonable price. Can't fault anything. They are as accommodating as possible and I've not had a bad meal here (or bad course)

We were lucky to get a table (having not reserved). We were just travelling back from a stay in Moulins after a tour of the Rhine to our house and it was an ideal stopping place. It was busy but they fitted us in. All of the staff were attentive, interested and chatty including the owner/chef. They were all working hard. The meal, menu du jour, was excellent. We both had a lovely goats cheese and veg tart followed by Limousin steak brochette cooked perfectly to our different orders. A nice 1/2 litre of red wine and really good desserts (panna cotta and chocolate mousse) and it inly came to about £35. Such great value for a quality meal. Would most definitely come here again.

It took them 5 minutes to get us a drink then a further 15 mins to take main order, waited for the food for 15 minutes but it was a crepe so acceptable but when it came it was cold, the crepe was hot but...More
