But it’s definitely not a good choice for a romantic dinner as somehow it was so noisy inside we had to speak loud to be able to communicate. Maybe because the place was packed with customers. We ordered full rack ribs. Price was quite low, only $39.90. Ribs were tender but I found that they put too much sauce and I prefer the ribs to be a bit burned and not too wet. Fries were given generously and some were quite crispy.Service was relatively quick considering they were busy with dine-in customers as well as delivery. The highlight was the housemade Tim Tam Cheesecake. I loved all the layers with different flavours and textures.
This restaurant is extremely noisy. Don't come here if you want to have a conversation during dinner or on a date. You will have difficulty hearing each other. Wish they would do something to reduce the noise level (maybe put up some soft furnishing on the walls to stop the sound reflection? <br/ <br/ The flavours were all wonderful but the pastas were overcooked. Pizzas were delicious. <br/ <br/ The service was efficient and friendly.
Excellent service and delicious food. The restaurant was very busy as usual for a Saturday night, but our meals came out quickly and we definitely weren't disappointed. <br/ <br/ We shared a rocket, walnut parmesan salad as well as a cheese and garlic pizza. The pizza was amazing. Definitely recommend it. <br/ <br/ Our mains were tasty and delicious. My husband had the Risotto Vesuvious both myself my son had the Chicken Portafolio. Both were amazing id order it again without hesitation. <br/ <br/ This restaurant is very busy quite noisy but it's beautifully decorated the food and service make up for how noisy it gets. <br/ <br/
I dined here with my friend on Wednesday evening for the first time. We arrived around 4:30pm as we thought that it was open since 10am (Google told us the wrong location's hours) to be told by the lovely lady at the front desk that they actually opened at 5pm, but it was no problem for us to take a seat inside from the cold and wait while they got organised. She offered us tea and coffee in the mean time, which we declined, and also brought us some table water and menus.<br/ <br/ We ordered garlic bread for entree, which was delicious with a lot of flavour and real pieces of garlic on top of a nicely toasted piece of bread. For our mains we shared a regular Hillside pizza and a fettucine pesto pasta with creamy sauce and pine nuts. The serving of pasta was huge, and could definitely be split between two people or eaten by one very hungry person. I am not a big fan of cream based sauces but this one was yummy, although a slightly stronger pesto flavour would be nice to counter the cream. The pizza was delicious as well with generous toppings. We couldn't finish it all and the waitress kindly packed it all up for us to take home. We finished off with a chai latte for myself and hot chocolate for my friend, which were both delicious. We stayed chatting for a long time after that and never felt rushed to leave. All in all a lovely dinner with friendly service, will definitely be back again.
Pasta was well made and great flavours. Unfortunately I can't take much heat and I was burning at the mouth from my tortellini amatriciana. Also let down by the aesthetically pleasing cannoli which I didn't enjoy as much as I thought I would. Although I've been spoiled with amazing cannoli in the past which might have heightened my expectations. Overall a nice dining experience with nothing major to complain about.
