Nine One One, Ucd - Belfield

I get my coffee in Pi every day. I am Italian and I can tell the guys there (especially Niko) make a really good coffee. Niko is also doing a good job in training all the personnel at the bar. I think it is the best place to have coffee in the area. P.S. Forza Bari!

I get coffee and an occasional snack from Cafe Pi almost every day. The staff are the best!

The food is very tasty, of good quality and I have it daily.

I spend a whole lot of time in here (be it sitting down to eat or grabbing my coffee and running out the door) as many of my lectures take place in the same building. There are two big coffee machines, a hot chocolate machine, and plenty of hot water and tea bags. As for food, The Arts Cafe offers a nice array of pastries to choose from, as well as packaged sandwiches (some of which can be warmed up). Although it tends to be a bit expensive here, the convenient location and plentiful seating ensure it's popularity with people in the Newman building, regardless of price.

Hard to believe that coffee this bad is still available, let alone smack bang in the middle of ucd's main campus where you'd think basic services would be a priority. Have had much much better coffee from garage self service machines and that is when the machines are working, which they frequently aren't. The selection of food on offer is pretty narrow too. Seating is great but sadly the coffee and food is well below par.
