Bidra med feedbackWent today for two hot chicken and rice, spices are lovely. Food is delicious love the food and would highly recommend. Service was great, friendly staff.
You can’t beat this place. The food is absolutely fantastic. We have been eating from Frango last 3 yrs and never had any bad experience! The food is healthy as most of the stuff from grill and has very unique taste! It is very hard to find clean and hygiene HALAL food place in Belfast but Frango does the job. Keep up the good work and we will come back....
I once again popped in fur a carry out this time. I ordered the half chicken platter with chips and a drink for £6.99. I am pretty sure this has gone up by one pound. I ordered mild mango and lime. Although I know some of the staff I found them quite unfriendly this visit. It was full of non locally born customers(foreigners for want of a better word)as it usually is. I ordered a small house sauce dip and was charged 0.50 pence for a tub, where previously it was given free. Especially as a free bottle is on the counter to help yourself. I found this mean and the unfriendly atmosphere means I have to mark it down. The chicken is tasty but nut much meat on it. A breast of chicken in a chippy would have more meat. The frozen chips taste of nothing and are bland. I threw most of them out. It was less tasty this time and I will not rush back.
Found them on google. Staff in the store confirmed it is halal. Very reasonably priced. Had a chicken burger meal and my friend had a quarter chicken and rice. We both enjoyed our meals and were grateful to find halal food in a clean, casual restaurant with polite staff. Clean area to sit down and eat. It might be just a chicken but hey it was halal, clean, tasty and good staff! PS: very tasty peri peri sauce... p
I find Frango's as good as Nando's and so much cheaper. I like the half chicken with chips or salad and a drink at under £7.00.(And my cat loves the bones. He He. You may have a bit of difficulty getting understood if you are local because some staff have poor english understanding. In fact once I gave up on phone trying to order. This time I told the indian/asian assistant I want to sit down. A lot of Romanians frequent here and are quite noisy. They were congregated round a table. So I pulled out a chair and sat at distancing tables lined up in front of counter. I was quoted a price which when I sat down and looked at menu was double what I should have paid with government 50% off scheme. I know one of the other guys behind the counter and he reimbursed me. I had wondered why I was given a paper bag and not a plate. The chicken was mild with a mild, possibly mango and lemon sauce, and very tasty. But not a massive amount of flesh on it,but that is the way now a days. Salad was lot of iceberg, tomato, red onion, cucumber and black olives. Filling portion. I do rate this as good as Nando's,if a little rough round the edges. Still it is recommended.
