Bidra med feedbackI had just paid my bill, when I was approached by the duty manager (30-something guy with a full dark beard). He smiled and handed me a £20 note, explaining I had overpaid on my last visit 4 weeks ago. I was gobsmacked and thanked him profusely for his honesty and super-dooper memory. He remembered me because we had had a chat about the food and the service, both of which were and are very good. Cutters is always clean, the staff work hard and the food is great. Thank you so much.
My friends and I visited Cutters for dinner on a thursday evening. We had fantastic customer service from all members of staff but a special mention to the lovely polish lady who I believe is the restaurant manager, she is always so happy and welcoming any time we visit and her staff reflect this as well. The meal the three of us had were just perfect, well cooked and full of flavour. We had a lovely river view table which just made our evening. Bar was busy plus all tables taken with diners. Atmosphere relaxing. One of our favourite places to have a catch up along with a good meal and exceptional customer service.
My wife and I were staying at my daughter's house just up the road, and we decided to take a walk down to Cutter's Wharf for drinks in the sunshine by the riverside. The location was fantastic! When we arrived, we weren't sure if we should order drinks from a waitress or at the bar, as other patrons seemed to be unsure as well. I decided to go inside and ask the bartender to pour me a Guinness while I went outside to choose a cocktail for my wife. I had the cocktail menu in hand. Upon my return, I was informed by another staff member that they were too busy to make cocktails. I settled for the only option they had available, a blush. The bill came to just over £12, and there was an issue with the payment device. The waitress had to reverse the transaction and assured me that there was no charge. Unfortunately, when we checked our bank statement a week later, we realized that we had been charged twice. I do not live in Belfast, so I am unsure if I will return to Cutter's Wharf in the future.
We celebrated a family milestone birthday at Cutters, including several generations, and everyone agreed it was the perfect venue. The staff were helpful and courteous during the planning and on the day of the celebration. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed. A special shoutout to Rodney for his helpfulness and great sense of humor.
After enjoying a nice walk along the tow path with our dog, we decided to stop in for a drink. We were enjoying the ciders and even made plans to come back for dinner because the setting and atmosphere were lovely. However, we were surprised when a gentleman approached us and said that dogs were not allowed, even though we were sitting outside. There were no signs indicating this policy, and the man admitted that it was a decision from head office. We quickly decided that we would not be returning for dinner, as we had not planned on going without our dog.
