Ampm - Belfast

Came in for dinner last night, tried speaking to the blond girl on bar(seemed to be a manager of sort) to which i was ignored, after being ignored time and time again i was sat near the bar and heard all the comments made. Then went to pay the bill and when i told the barmaiden that my bill was incorrect she shrugged and changed it, not once asked if i was okay, if the food was okay or even a smile. think ampm needs to understand that even the bar staff need to be trained in customer service

Extremely disappointed with the service and some of the staff in AMPM. I booked in advance via email and telephone for a larger group and when we arrived they had the time wrong, to which the staff member wasn’t impressed even tho I had email proof of the booking which I showed. The number of people for the reservation was wrong too and the food orders that had been present via email weren’t all accounted for on the night. When I approached one particular staff member it was obvious that she wasn’t impressed and had an attitude when I asked for the table to be set for the correct amount of people as it hadn’t been once we were allocated the table. Frustrating as it was for a hen do and it put a dampener on the night for everyone. I wouldn’t recommend AMPM for larger groups especially if it’s for an occasion. Very disappointed, especially with the staff member and her attitude.

£8.20 for a tiny sliver of cheesecake. Thought it was a children’s portion. Burger was ok. Chips were mostly scraps . Service charge is apparently added to all bills regardless of party size . A first for me . There are much better places to eat in Belfast.

Son purchased two tickets for Xmas present..cost of four tickets was charged to his account, which he is still trying to get refund for two. On our arrival at venue on January 17th we were informed that the event had been cancelled. No notification had been received prior. Girl at AMPM was very apologetic and offered a drink. Hopefully my son will receive a full refund for all four tickets charged.

Excellent food and service! It was a great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We liked very much the cocktails and the food was amazing. It was a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely go back soon!
