Crab Du Jour Xpress - Belcamp

Wife and I shared the combo pick 1 pick 2. It was the best seafood in years. We got the snow crab legs and shrimp in old bay mild and corn with potatoes. The best ever especially in a bag.

We stayed in Belcamp for 3 days and ordered fro this restaurant 3 times. The Du Jour Catch Special was very tasty and fresh.

Stopped here with my son en route to Georgia, coming from New York. The salad was fresh, the po boy was FANTASTIC! Fresh bread, flakey/moist catfish and flavorful cajun fries I'm recommending to everyone I know!

The only thing I've tried so far that I don't like are the fries.

Took my family of 3 to this restaurant with the intention of dining in. To find out they don't have booster seats for toddlers. Also staff wasn't very friendly. We got the impression we were the first customers of the day (5:00 pm). We decided to get our order to go. Probably a good decision anyway with a 2 year old and the type of food we ordered I would give the food a 5 out of 10. The seafood is cooked in a steam bag (not a bad thing) The seafood and seasoning wasn't mixed well at all. We found ourselves dipping the 2 lbs of shrimp, 2 pounds of snow crab legs and 3 pounds of crawfish, 4 potatoes and 5 pre-frozen half ears of corn that we ordered in the bottom of the steam bag. If not for dipping the seafood in the bottom of the steam bag our order wouldn't have had any taste of seasoning at all. The portions of food in our order were more than sufficient for my wife myself and our 2 year old daughter. Overall ok I guess, not impressed for a first visit. I can't say I'll be in a rush to go back being that our order came to $85 plus a generous $15 tip. After the fact I feel the tip wasn't earned, especially for a takeout order, lesson learned I guess. Next time I'll do better research. Steamed seafood from ShopRite would have been better and cheaper.
